Ceredigion
Photo: Google Maps
This substantial stone house on the Ceredigion shore dates back generations, its solid Victorian bones now fitted throughout with modern comforts. Seven bedrooms and five bathrooms spread across ground and first floors make it a genuine option for large gatherings—families reuniting, groups of friends, or multi-generational holidays where everyone needs their own space. Six of the bedrooms have kingsize beds; one has twin singles that zip and link. Four rooms have ensuite bathrooms with roll-top baths and walk-in showers; the others connect to shared wet rooms on their floors.
The ground floor centres on an open-plan kitchen, living and dining space, where a full-sized oven, hob and dishwasher mean actual cooking is possible rather than just reheating. A utility room with washing machine and dryer handles laundry for groups. Beyond the doors lies a large enclosed garden with patio, lawn and furniture; a private hot tub seats 14. You get electricity, heating, wifi, bed linen and towels included. One dog is welcome. There is private parking for six cars and an electric car charging point. The property comes with travel cots, a highchair and a stairgate, plus a welcome pack on arrival.
The beach lies within walking distance. The wider coast around Cardigan Bay is scattered with small harbours, coastal paths and villages. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
