What visitors say
I’ve played in a number of adult tennis events at this venue. Mostly Fast Four tournaments, but also outdoor clay ones. The courts I played on were indoor acrylic. I played against a variety of rated players all of whom were solid ball strikers. It was highly competitive with some good match ups. They have a nearby cafe inside and bathroom facilities near the route of where the main courts are. So if you need to refuel within distance; you can grab some drinks or a snack just to keep the energy rolling. I enjoy visiting this place and it’s a great system for local players to build up their LTA rating score and experience, which can help support them to have a greater chance in competing in the National British Tour Events. Update: TennisUK are the company that run fast four events here. My issue is the referees in Sutton have clear deficiencies regarding communication - in particular Mr Chris Drewe - he made an error on my result then lied to his boss Mr David Fuchs that I was at fault. I attempted to speak to Mr Fuchs about this. He much like Mr Drewe had no problem brushing it off as nothing at the expense of myself. I emailed Mr Fuchs a final reply stating to him the errors - which he ignored. No problem - I don’t care. The underlying problem Mr Fuchs has - he’s got lost in his status as the company director/owner - he’s got far too comfortable keeping things the way they are, so, whenever someone raises a clear flaw that could help develop his business - he is far too haughty to let his guard down and accept the truth. You’ve seen in it Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares. Where the owner is stuck in their way - then; maybe not now - but years later - their belligerent ignorance starts to catch up on them and the business starts losing money. My point is - he needs to start listening to the players.

Sports village with lots to offer, free parking, play park, shop for ice-cream and drinks etc, the new pump track looks great, plenty to do for a day out

Cafe still closed but the great viewing gallery for the indoor courts is open. Parking remains a problem when there are events on elsewhere in the area. Diner outside no longer has indoor seating but still has a great menu. Small Tesco 6 minute walk away.
