Springhill Farm Riding Stables

Springhill farm has been absolutely amazing for a riding holiday, the horses are all lovely and they all suit each rider perfectly. The countryside is stunning and the pub ride was a highlight. Shoutout to Dawn and Charlotte who were so friendly and helpful and to my pony Rocky, who has been a pleasure.

This place is just gorgeus, my daughter went on a 2 hr hack today with Dawn and Katrina and literally had the time of her life, dont think I've ever seen her so happy and her heart so full. Dawn is amazing and made my daughter feel so confident, she learnt more and got more freedom at springhill farm than she has in over a year of lessons. If you love horses you need to come here the views are absolutely beautiful, animals are so cute and friendly and the people are lovely! You won't regret coming here ❤️❤️

What a fantastic week at Springhill Farm!!!!! Liz , Dawn and the rest of the team made us feel so welcome and comfortable. My husband is new to riding but due to our guides being so patient and helpful he made more progress in 1 week than he has in 6 months of lessons and even learnt how to tack up and groom. We both loved the horses we were matched with but also got the opportunity to try a different one if we wanted just for a bit of variety, although they are all gorgeous, forward going and well mannered so we were spoilt for choice. We had 3 day rides and a couple of shorter ones through absolutely stunning scenery (we were very blessed with lovely weather) We stayed at the bunkhouse 2 nights which was rustic, but had a lovely well equipped little kitchen and was stocked with essentials for a nice breakfast; bread, muesli, muffins, milk, eggs, butter etc. also a lovely spacious wetroom with a hot shower which was needed after a long day's riding! Thank you Springhill for a magical week and we will definitely see you soon whether you like it or not 😄 P.S Has the foal been born yet? x

Second weekend at Springhill and just as fabulous as the last time. The location is amazing with loads of incredible rides in a variety of terrains. The horses are all well looked after and happy. Liz and the team are friendly and helpful and work really hard to make sure you are happy with your whole experience. The accommodation is comfortable and warm with lots of hot water. There is nothing about Springhill which isn’t great. Thoroughly recommended for the day or the week.
