City of London Distillery & Bar

We stopped in for a whiskey and gin flight and ended up having one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. Luke, our host and server, was absolutely amazing — incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and welcoming. He guided us through each gin in the flight, made great recommendations, and really took the time to explain what made each one special. The highlight? He surprised us with a behind-the-scenes look at the distillery itself. We got to see the beautiful stills up close and even spotted the master distiller at work — who just happened to be crafting his next batch of his Signature Gin while we were there! We enjoyed the experience so much that we ended up buying a bottle of Navy Strength Gin to take home — a perfect reminder of an unforgettable visit. Luke’s passion for the craft really came through, and we’re so grateful for the time he spent with us. Highly recommend visiting — and if you’re lucky enough to be served by Luke, you’re in great hands!

Fantastic atmosphere and incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable staff. V and Nicole were wonderful! The gin offerings are top notch, the varieties are all very unique, and of the ones I tried they are all each great in their own right. Very easy place to recommend, I'll definitely be back on future trips to the city.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and tasting session, learning about the gin-making process and its history. Our quide was exceptional. making the visit both informative and engaging. The bar and distillery were very pleasant, clean. and welcoming. The staff were incredibly accommodating, and we would highly recommend a tasting session anc tour.

Booking for 4, entered downstairs into a low lit and practically empty gin bar (it later filled out though!) Very helpful and friendly staff got us seated and gave lots of advice on gin selections, although we are very well inducted into the flavours. Always open to trying the new ones, we plumbed for the Five Whitley Neill gin selections. The stand out is the bacon and horseradish - a big marmite moment - sorry, but it didn’t win me over! If you’re after an off the street place to socialise give it a try
