What diners say
Went here for a works meal having not been to Goodman in many years. I have had some of the best steaks ever as this chain and today didn't disappoint. Ordered 300g of Wagu at close to £40 per 100g but it was worth it. The steak was close to melt in your mouth and cooked to perfection. Should have got a slightly bigger piece. Sides were all good but the steak was the star of the show. I've been to a lot of steak houses over the years but in my mind, Goodman does the best steaks in London.

Wow, wow, wow is all I can say!!! Phenomenal service from the minute we walked in. Fantastic selection of cocktails and wines, as well as a beautiful interior. The food is nothing short of outstanding - though the skinny fries could be skinnier (they’re more like chips) and the mashed potato could be much butterier. Other than that, no notes, 11/10. We will definitely be back!

Goodman in Bank offers a polished steakhouse experience in the heart of the City. The food is undoubtedly a highlight: the quality of the meat stands out, cooked with care and well-seasoned, and the sides complement the main dishes without overshadowing them. Overall, the meal feels thoughtfully put together and satisfying. That said, it does come at a price. The menu leans firmly toward the higher end, and while the quality justifies it to an extent, it may not feel like an everyday dining option for most people. It’s the kind of place better suited to a business meal or a special occasion rather than a casual visit. Staff are attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and efficient even during busy periods. In summary, Goodman in Bank delivers very good food and excellent service in a refined setting. The cost is worth considering, but if you’re prepared for it, the experience is consistently solid and reliable.

Not only the food was impeccable but the service topped it for us! We had a surprise birthday dinner for our close friend & had a private room. The staff were amazing and accommodating. Helped us charge our phone, took photos, brought out cake - just 10/10! The sides are generous and steak was cooked to perfection. Most our table ordered the ribeye 😍😍 it melted in your mouth! My favourite sides were the creamed spinach and mac n cheese. Only note is wish the sauce was bigger! Highly recommend.
