Millie's Lounge at The Ned

I had an excellent time here. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with extremely warm, friendly and helpful staff. The greeter at the door welcomed me into the space and asked if I wanted a quick tour to help me get around. My experience at the bar at Millie’s met the exact expectations! From the moment I sat down I was greeted with warmth by Carlos, the bartender. He was very friendly without being overbearing, served me professionally and swiftly. I ordered the Lobster pie and it was incredibly decadent, rich in flavour and interesting. It is one of the best dishes I have ever tried in my life and I would pay to taste that for the first time again. The bisque was very rich and soaked the pie completely, packing it with flavour. The other bartender, Paulo, was also extremely warm and friendly and took care of me very well as well. Overall, this team of bartenders is very professional, competent and efficient. They seem very genuine, was not overbearing, and were very knowledgeable and kind. There was another gentleman behind the bar who was extremely warm and friendly as well, but I did not catch his name. He is a black man with beautiful braids. All of these experiences combined makes me want to come back again!!! I had an awesome time and the hospitality was incredible, on top of the ambience of the live band and the amazing food.

My husband & I went for my birthday to Millie’s Lounge for afternoon tea and they really went above and beyond to celebrate my special day. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very accommodating (and knowledgeable) for my dietary requirements as I’m pregnant. Food was delicious, the selection of cakes were so well thought through & a lovely mix. Every member of staff we interacted with was spot on & they really made my day even more special. Can’t recommend enough.

We had dinner last night at Millies, the quality of the food, drink and service were excellent. For expert advice on cocktails and whiskey, look for the bar tenders Tiziano or Carlo, who provided great advice and were brilliantly professional and entertaining. Our small group were served dinner by Angela who was attentive, courteous, and professional. The quality of the food was excellent and she gave us great menu advice and recommendations. Overall a fantastic dinning experience and the live entertainment was also very good. The venue is quite spectacular and Millies is a great place to take family or business associates for a great dining experience.

What an absolutely amazing experience! The place just makes you feel good as soon as you walk in! Greeted at the door and then went to the bar for a pre-lunch drink. Served by the most amazing Emily who couldn’t do enough for you from this drink and also the drinks we had there after lunch a huge asset to The Ned. Lunch itself and the serve from the team was IMMENSE! The quality and amount of food choice was beyond expectation and all tasted sooo good! Well worth the price, amazing surroundings and perfect service from the team who looked after us. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends and will return again for sure!!
