What diners say
Food and location is great with friendly staff. They also had some fun unique cocktails which is always a plus! I think the pricing is reasonable for the majority, apart from the temaki handroll being 14 pounds for one piece... They might have used some good quality nori, but I don't think it's worth it when you can get a full Maki roll for almost half the price AND also share if you're here as a group. Other than that I have no complaints, food was delicious and the restaurant was open kitchen (adding a bit of theatre). It's the perfect place for afterwork dinner with some work friends, so I would come here again (but wouldn't go for the hand roll)

Absolutely outstanding!! I had come across the restaurant and was curious to see if it was amazing as the reviews stipulated and it absolutely was. I love eating out (especially Japanese) but this was probably best sushi I have had in London. The menu has a fantastic range of maki, sashimi, hot and cold starters, yakitori and some great rice dishes too so lots of options. The venue is beautiful as well as spacious which I find increasingly rare in restaurants and was great for a client meeting. Cost wise it is very reasonable especially for the standard of the dishes. The staff are also particularly charming and friendly which adds to the experience. We were hosted by Ruby who was really helpful. Will be returning asap!

From stunning interiors to polished service and fantastic food – dinner at Wild Izakaya was an all-round delight. Must highlight their sushi selection in particular: if one-bite perfection exists, it’s definitely the otoro nigiri 👌🏼

A masterful and authentic taste of Japan in the heart of London. Stepping into Wild Izakaya is like being instantly transported to Tokyo. This magnificent establishment manages to capture the very essence of Japanese gastronomy, delivering a level of authenticity and flavors that I had previously only experienced in Japan itself. The setting is undeniably stunning, but the true magic happens at the counter. Having the privilege of watching the sushi masters meticulously craft each dish right in front of you elevates the meal from a simple dinner to a captivating culinary performance. As for the food, the freshness and quality of the products are entirely uncompromising. I made my way through almost the entire menu, and I have absolutely nothing but praise for every single bite. Whether it's the delicacy of the sashimi or the precision of the hot dishes, everything is executed with absolute perfection. The service perfectly mirrors the high standards of the kitchen: flawless, attentive, and deeply respectful of the omotenashi (Japanese hospitality) spirit. In summary: It is undeniably on the pricier side, making it an ideal destination for a special occasion (or simply to treat yourself). However, given the exceptional quality of the ingredients, the stunning environment, and the perfect execution, it is worth every single penny. A brilliant address that I highly recommend.
