Lovely little place. The warders were very friendly and welcoming. Even as non-birders we passed a lovely hour or so there watching the sea and chatting

Was locked up on 23 April and looked like it needed some repair. Still enjoyable to look around outside and see the birds. Spotted a seal lounging on the rock.

Run by well-meaning volunteers (mostly a keen couple). Work in progress, but very dedicated staff. Worth a visit.

Closed at midday, but there is a small shelter for standing that kept us out of the wind. Saw 4 seals, Oyster catchers, gannet, herring gull, cormorants, little ringed plover
