Iro Sushi - Clapham

The hot food is very average, covered in soy sauce. The sushi is quite nice. So I’d only recommend you ordering sushi from here not any hit starters or mains. The restaurant is very small, only has 3 tables so it’s mainly for takeaway. I don’t see delivery guys come and go frequently which suggests good takeaway business. But I wouldn’t visit again for dining and I’m not big fan of sushi either, more into cooked Japanese food.

Very delicious food! Great cozy environment and the staff were super nice and smiley!! :) we did get 40% off for wednesdays and that might have affected the rating as food was way cheaper. Spent around £15 each and got loads of food make sure to visit :)

Miso soup had the perfect balance. Both the salmon nigiri and the signature roll were very delicious, though if I get to be incredibly picky the rice on the nigiri was just a little dry. The young lady serving me was smiley and very welcoming. She made me feel like an appreciated customer. The atmosphere is decent for eating in, but I wouldn't recommend it for special occasions. The room was a bit cold, the lighting and decorations felt sparse but all in all I had a lovely time enjoying a fine meal on my tod.

We ordered IRO Sushi on Deliveroo and were pleasantly surprised with it! I think we found our weekly order-in place!!! The value for money of their sushi is really good! Not the best we have ordered but definitely the best with that price (usually with those prices they are bad sushi and this was really good!!). And the size of the portions/sushi are also very generous. We ordered salmon box, king prawn tempura, miso soup, prawn katsu avocado roll, tuna tataki, Chicken katsu curry and mountain roll (waaaay too much so we had leftovers). We liked the most the mountain roll, miso soup and the king prawns.
