What visitors say
Well worth the visit. A fictional idealised layout based on real buildings and setting. Three rooms of models, the Vale being the biggest. Bigger than the website and photos make it appear. Kids loved it. Lots of volunteers happy to go into detail. Trains being run and explained as you watch. Cafe is a bit basic and double parking in the car park not organised well. But otherwise great.

Excellent place to visit if you like model railways. We took our grandson, he loved the modelling workshop. The layouts are fabulous. Great staff, so kind, helpful & engaging. Great coffee at a good price.

Ive lived in Oxfordshire for 15 years and never come across this place. Its really rather good. Especially good for small or big children who like model trains. Run by an army of volunteers who do an excellent job. The model building workshop that they ran today was excellent, some very kind gentlemen spent about 30 minutes with my children helping them build a model scene.
