Wylde Valley Camping

We had an incredible stay at Wylde Valley this August. The site is beautifully maintained, with plenty of quiet lanes and untouched woodland that make it perfect for anyone looking to reconnect with nature. The peace and quiet we experienced were unparalleled, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you’re looking for a serene and secluded spot to unwind it is the place to be. We had the whole week to relax and soak in the tranquility. The stars are so bright here, there are owls hooting in the distances, bats and rabbits darting around the hedgerows and kestrels flying overhead. I highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat.

Family friendly camping site near Bude with generous pitches. The camp site is in a peaceful location, 20 minutes drive from Bude town centre and many of the beaches. We hired a fire pit with wood supply, which was great to use during the evenings. The toilet and shower blocks are brand new and cleaned twice daily. The showers are the best we have experienced on a camp site (and at some hotels!). The camp site was not at maximum occupancy and we therefore never had to queue for any of the washing or cleaning facilities. There was live music, pizzas and beer provided on a Wednesday and Friday night in a nearby field, which was a great way to meet other campers. It had a family friendly music festival vibe and we enjoyed being able to walk back to the camp site after an evening out. I would highly recommend Wylde Valley for families looking for a quiet and comfortable stay.

This is by far the best campsite I've stayed at. The welcome pack is great and full of ideas, everything is laid out clearly. The welcome on site is great and we were checked on an hour in to make sure we had everything we needed which was a great touch. The toilet block is well laid out, clean and has fancy showers, I couldn't ask for more. We opted for a fire pit, although I initially thought this was over priced it was worth it to keep warm whist sitting out watching the Perseid Meteor Shower until the wee hours with a bottle of wine. The on site Glamping looked good, it's a serious contender for next year although the spot rental with electric hookup is hard to beat.

The most wonderful campsite. Huge pitches, the terrific shower and toilet block. Nice touches everywhere. We stayed in our campervan and a little tent but would love to stay in one of their fancy bell tents some time in the future. If you are in the area it’s a must! Thank you 😊
