Cellars Cottage
Cornwall
The Roseland Peninsula is a quiet corner of the Cornish coast, its Heritage Coastline largely unspoilt and edged with coves that draw walkers, swimmers and boaters. Cellars Cottage sits on a private estate here with direct access to the beach and a mooring, making it a serious draw for anyone with water interests—whether that means launching a kayak, swimming straight from the shore, or tying up a boat. The mild climate means the area stays green year-round, and the walking is excellent.
The cottage sleeps ten across four bedrooms: two with super king beds, one with a king and ensuite, and one with twin singles. Two bathrooms and a shower room spread across the property handle the practical side. The ground floor is open-plan, with a kitchen that covers the basics for cooking, a dining area, and a sitting room with a wood burner. There's also a second sitting room with bunk beds, useful for children or as an overflow space. Private parking fits four cars, and the front garden has a barbecue and furniture. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided; the wood burner's initial fuel is included too. One dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside.
The nearest shop and restaurant are in St Mawes, a short drive away. This is a property for groups or large families who want to base themselves by the sea without the fuss of booking separate cottages.
