The Boathouse

You enter The Boathouse on the ground floor and immediately feel the riverside location. The main living space combines kitchen and sitting room in an open plan, with Freeview TV and a breakfast bar; the bedroom is a double; there's a shower room with heated towel rail. Everything necessary is provided—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—so you can settle in straight away. One dog is welcome here.

The property fronts directly onto the Percuil River, and the real draw becomes clear from your balcony or patio: moored boats drift past, and the water is close enough to use the private slipway in front. St Mawes Harbour is a short walk away along the seafront, with shops and pubs; ferries from the harbour connect to Falmouth, Truro and other points on the Falmouth Estuary. The village sits on the eastern side of the estuary with a notably mild climate. If you're bringing a boat, moorings are available by arrangement, along with trailer parking. A small rowing dinghy can be hired separately. There's parking for two cars on site.
