Meadowside

Meadowside is a self-contained first-floor apartment on the Roseland Peninsula, a short walk from St Mawes Harbour and the sailing club. The open-plan living space has a wood burner for cooler evenings, and a feature window frames views towards the River Percuil. Two bedrooms sleep four: one double and two singles, with a bathroom that has a bath and shower. The kitchen is equipped for cooking, with a dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven, alongside a wine cooler if you're bringing bottles. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided.

St Mawes itself is the draw here. Henry VIII's castle sits on the headland; the village has a working harbour, a sailing club, and regular ferries across to Falmouth and out to St Anthony's Head. Walks loop around the coastal paths and inland through countryside. Summers Beach is within reach for a swim or a sit-down. There's a back garden with seating, and parking for one car on site. The property does not accept children. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
