Cornwall

Gwel-An-Porth comes ready for immediate use. Electricity, heating fuel for the multi-fuel burner, bed linen, towels and wifi are all provided, along with a welcome pack. The kitchen is fitted out for proper cooking—electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine—rather than the usual holiday-let basics. Downstairs there's also a living room with Freeview TV, DVD and CD player, a bathroom with bath and shower, and access to a small garden with furniture and a barbecue.
The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms: one double bed and two singles. It's a Grade II listed terrace property in Charlestown, a Georgian harbour village that retains much of its original character and doubles as a film location. The harbour itself, a five-minute walk away, has a visitor centre, sailing ships, restaurants and a pub. Carlyon Bay's sandy beach is roughly a mile off. For attractions further afield, the Eden Project is four miles away and the Lost Gardens of Heligan five miles. The shop is half a mile from the door. The property does have open spiral stairs, and smoking is not permitted.
