Coppers occupies the first and ground floors of a pub building in St Mawes, positioned high enough to command uninterrupted views across the bay toward the Helford Estuary. The layout makes unusual sense once you arrive: the main living and dining space is upstairs to capture those views, while the bedrooms are split between both levels. Ground floor holds the master bedroom with its own shower room and French doors onto a private balcony, plus a second bedroom with twin single beds. Upstairs, a third single bedroom sits alongside the living area and kitchen.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking proper meals—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, and all the basics. Towels, bed linen, wi-fi and electricity are included in the rental. There's a garage with a tumble dryer and a spare fridge, parking for one car on site, and further spaces on the road outside. The garden is lawned with patio areas and furniture, though there are steps within it. St Mawes village centre and beaches are within walking distance; the property itself is reached up a short hill from the harbour. One dog is welcome. No smoking throughout.

Lovely place to eat, meals were delicious. Large portions. Reasonable price for four peoples food and drinks. Emily is a lovely waitress, Emily and Kev made us feel extremely welcome. Thank you to all of you for making our visit pleasurable!

Portions are quite small. Tasted ok but wasnt entirely happy with the portion size on a very shallow small plate. Also after eating our sides realised we was offered the smaller size instead of the larger one which I paid for as had eaten it didnt bother mentioning it but came out quite hungry still and not satisfied with the meal and annoyed I had been overcharged. Visited whilst on holiday and decided not to return here and go to other places instead.

Came with no booking. Got seated at a nice table in less than ten minutes. The app ordering system worked really well. We never needed to get up from our table. We’ve come here over twenty times since they opened. The experience has been consistently friendly and helpful with decent food at reasonable prices.
