Driftwood Cottages - The Stables by the Sea

The Stables by the Sea is a converted stable block standing alone in a quiet courtyard, a very short walk from Porth beach. The ground floor holds two bedrooms, each with a zip-and-link super king bed that can be split into singles, plus a bathroom with bath, shower and separate toilet. Upstairs is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with patio doors leading to a garden and terrace; a smart TV and Freesat are there if the weather turns. An enclosed garden, BBQ and roof terrace (reached by steps) give you multiple outdoor spaces, and there's private parking for one car plus a bike store.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and all the basics—and there's a washing machine and tumble dryer in an external utility room. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. Newquay's seven beaches and town centre are walkable along the coastal path; from there you can reach surf schools, a leisure centre, cinema and restaurants. The Camel estuary cycle trail runs between Padstow and Wadebridge. The pub at Porth beach serves local ales and food on its terrace. No smoking is permitted inside.
