Fuchsia comes fully equipped for self-catering: electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, so you arrive to a ready-to-use home. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, meaning you can cook properly or keep things simple. Downstairs, the living room contains a TV, DVD player and woodburner (logs provided), while a separate games room with table tennis is shared with other guests on site. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a king-size bed, the other with two single beds—and a bathroom with bath and shower. A cot and highchair are available if you need them.
The property sits within a 4-acre smallholding, where you have access to a heated indoor swimming pool (9m × 4m), tennis court and children's play area. There's a large enclosed garden at Fuchsia itself, with furniture and a barbecue for summer use. Private parking for one car is included. The location is 2 miles inland from the North Cornwall coast, making it suitable for families wanting both beach access and quieter countryside. No smoking throughout. An unfenced pond is present on the grounds, 110 yards away.

Lovely refurbished fisherman's cottage. Clean and tidy. A welcome bottle of Prosecco. Personally, I found the bed and sofa comfortable. St Mawes is a lovely quaint fishing, friendly people. I would recommend a stay here.

Beautiful, cozy cottage. Very private and tucked away within a terraced row of pretty cottages. Yet, a minutes walk to the hub of St Mawes with all the shops and restaurants.

Wonderful stay at Fuchsia Cottage in St Mawes. A truly boutique fishermans cottage with luxury features, hotel quality bed linen and everything you need for a week for the beautiful St Mawes. A great place to unwind, walk on the beach, eat seafood, drink wine and relax in the quiet town. For more life we took the 20 minute Ferry to Falmouth which is a busy town with plenty of shops and dining options. Parking at the cottage is a real plus! Not many places to park in St Mawes apart from the chargable car park.
