Mill House

Mill House suits families and small groups who want a self-contained base with shared facilities nearby. The cottage sleeps five across three bedrooms: a king on the first floor, two singles and a further single on the second floor. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. Downstairs, an open-plan living space has a TV, DVD player and dining area that flows into a kitchen equipped for cooking; a washing machine is on hand for longer stays.

The property sits on a small holding near Marhamchurch, two miles inland from the North Cornwall coast. Electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi are included. Outdoors, a small garden has seating and furniture. Parking is for one car. The grounds are shared with other properties but include a heated indoor swimming pool (9m x 4m, open 8am to 8pm daily), a games room with table tennis, a tennis court and a children's play area. An unfenced pond lies 110 yards away, which matters if you're visiting with young children. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage.
