Garden Cottage

Garden Cottage works well for families of four or couples wanting extra space, plus one pet at no extra cost. The cottage is detached and wholly yours, set within two acres of wooded grounds on the outskirts of Gunnislake near the Tamar Estuary. The ground floor holds a living room with Freeview TV and DVD player, a kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine, and a shower room. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one double and two singles, served by another shower room. A travel cot is available if needed.

The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, and essentials like bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are all included. You have your own parking for two cars and access to a sitting-out area with garden furniture and a barbecue, both shared within the grounds. The Rising Sun pub is roughly half a mile away; shops and a restaurant sit about a mile off. The location suits walkers and anyone wanting to explore both sides of the Tamar Valley—the river separates Devon from Cornwall, making day trips straightforward. The grounds do have slopes and some steep steps, so worth noting if mobility is a consideration. No smoking inside.
