This converted farmhouse wing sits on a working sheep farm, putting you between countryside and coast. The beach is a mile away, while St Austell and Charlestown—with their shops, pubs and restaurants—are equally close. The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are within five miles. If you ride, the owner can arrange stabling so you can explore the local bridleways.
The cottage has two bedrooms (one double, one with twin singles) and a bathroom upstairs, with the living space below: a sitting room with a woodburner, dining room and kitchen equipped for self-catering. Outside, a sheltered patio and enclosed garden with furniture and a barbecue look out over the valley. There's parking for two cars on site. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial fuel for the stove. A travel cot and high chair are available. One well-behaved pet can stay at no extra cost.
The place is non-smoking. The Grade II listed farmhouse retains original features—slate floors and stone walls—though this is a self-contained property with its own entrance.
