Falmouth's coastline sits just a mile away, yet Hazel Cottage occupies a peaceful spot within a purpose-built holiday village where streams, mature trees and thoughtful landscaping create a retreat feel despite proximity to the sea. The village itself has the infrastructure of somewhere designed for families—tennis courts, a gym, an indoor play area for babies and toddlers, and outdoor play spaces—but retains genuine quiet between properties.
The cottage itself is modest and straightforward. Downstairs holds an open-plan living space with a wood-burning stove, dining area and a kitchen equipped for actual cooking: electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with a double—and a bathroom with shower over the bath. A cot is available. Bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are included. A small patio and shared rear garden with seating back onto the grounds; private parking for one car is on site. Smoking is not permitted.
Swanpool and Maenporth beaches are reachable in three minutes by car. Gyllyngvase, Falmouth's largest beach, is a short drive further. The area around has National Trust properties, gardens and coastal walks; the village café and bar operates seasonally from April through October.
