Hideaway is a self-contained ground-floor apartment with its own drive entrance, designed around the kind of views that justify a holiday all by themselves. The main living space opens directly onto a terrace through full-width doors, while the master bedroom's equally generous glazing means you can wake to the same outlook. Two ensuite bedrooms sleep four, with a king in the main room and two singles in the second; a separate toilet and utility room with washer, dryer and shower add practical breathing room.
The kitchen has a full electric range, dishwasher and all the basics for self-catering. Living areas include a woodburner, Freeview TV and Bluetooth speaker. Underfloor heating and full linen provision mean the essentials are sorted, and wifi keeps you connected. The approach involves 14 steps with a handrail down to the entrance. Parking for two cars is available; the beach lies about a third of a mile away. Non-smokers only.

It is a beautiful halfway point when you are taking a hike around the area. Beautiful views of the countryside. The food was ok. It is what it is and expected when you are cooking from a food truck. I'm not sure the homemade chicken burgers were homemade, though. They were quite dry. It is a shame that the eating area overlooks the car park and blocks the view. Other than that the staff are very friendly. Prices vary, however, I thought was quite steep, considering. Anyhow, judgment comes from your own experience, and the area is a great place to explore. Hideaway isn't here any longer they have moved to a different location.

Super quick service, lovely area, amazing service and even more amazing food. Lots of different options all reasonable priced. I recommend the Brisket which is cooked and seasoned to perfection. Definetely will be a repeat customer. 👍

Lovely little cafe, been coming back for a few years whilst on our annual holiday. Kind and friendly staff and gorgeous food! Beautiful views of cow fields! Would definitely recommend to anyone!🍩🌻
