Families and larger groups will find The White House works well for a proper seaside stay. Five bedrooms across three floors provide space to spread out—one with an en-suite and balcony, another with en-suite facilities, plus three more for children or additional guests. There are three bathrooms in total, and the whole property is yours alone. One well-behaved dog is welcome to come along.
Downstairs you have a large kitchen with an Aga for cooking, a utility room with a washing machine and dryer, two living spaces with television, and separate toilets. The substantial garden includes a patio and lawn with mature planting, good for sitting out. There is private parking for four cars and an electric vehicle charging point if needed. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; travel cots and highchairs available on request. The grounds do have some drops, so worth knowing if you have very young children.
The beach is a short walk away, and St Mawes village—with pubs, shops and restaurants—is five minutes on foot. The harbour is the real draw: sailing clubs, boat hire, water sports and fishing trips all operate from the quay. The main house overlooks the harbour, castle and bay. Check in is after 15:00 and check out before 10:30. No smoking throughout.
