Quince Cottage
Cornwall
Built from stone and converted into a single-level home, Quince Cottage sits in the Ruthern Valley with direct access from outside—no steps to the entrance. The layout runs across one floor: a spacious open-plan living and dining area with an open fire, a fully equipped kitchen for proper cooking, three bedrooms including one with an en-suite shower, and a family bathroom with a bath and shower. One bedroom has a super king bed, another a king, and the third has two singles, sleeping six in total. One dog stays free of charge.
Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided, along with logs for the fire. Outside, a courtyard with garden furniture and a barbecue adjoins the property, with parking for two cars on site. The location suits both coastal trips and inland exploration: Bodmin Moor is a short drive away, the north coast and its beaches within 10 miles, and the cycle trails around Wadebridge and Padstow roughly 15 miles north. Newquay, Polzeath, Port Isaac and Fowey are all within similar reach. Families may request a travel cot and highchair. No smoking indoors.
