Rosemary Cottage suits families and small groups looking for a rural base in mid-Cornwall. The property sleeps six across three bedrooms: a ground-floor bedroom with a zip-and-link bed (configurable as doubles or singles), and two first-floor rooms, each with a pair of single beds. There are two bathrooms, one on each floor. A spacious living area downstairs has an open fire, comfortable seating and a retro Atari games console, while the kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and air fryer. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard, along with Wi-Fi throughout.

The cottage sits at Tregawne Farm Cottages in the Ruthern Valley, between Bodmin and Wadebridge, positioned to reach both coasts within a reasonable drive. The enclosed rear garden has decking, sloping lawn and garden furniture; it is dog-friendly, and a box of beach equipment (boards, buckets, spades and toys) is provided for guests. Parking for one car is on site, with additional spaces available nearby. The property does not permit smoking. Note that the water supply comes from a borehole, and the garden has slopes.

We had a lovely stay at Rosemary Cottage in Cornwall. The cottage is in a great location, really close to the Camel Trail and only a short drive from Padstow, which made it perfect for days out with my two daughters. We were also really lucky with the weather during our stay, so we made the most of exploring the area and visiting Polzeath Beach. The cottage itself was cosy, comfortable, and had plenty of space for all of us. We especially loved the fire in the evenings after being out all day. Everything felt very well looked after and homely. John was very helpful throughout our stay and gave us some great recommendations for local amenities, places to eat, and things to do nearby, which made everything really easy. He even had body boards available for guests, which we took to Polzeath Beach and the girls absolutely loved. Overall, we had such a relaxing family break and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place, lovely touches added by the owners, would recommend anybody to come here. In middle of nowhere, definitely need car to go anywhere and it's incredibly hilly, narrowest lanes ever, quite a challenge at times but fun lol. Would definitely come here again. Thank you 😊
