Spindrift
Cornwall

St Mawes village sits on the Roseland peninsula with water on three sides, and Spindrift commands views across the bay towards St Anthony's Head and The Lizard. The house occupies a clifftop position with direct sightlines to the seascape—the kind of outlook that doesn't get tired. A sloping garden with patio, ornamental planting and a pond sits below the house, and parking for three cars is on site.
The layout spreads across two floors. Ground level holds the main living space—an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with large windows framing the water—plus three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master has a kingsize bed and sea views; a double and single bedroom complete the sleeping options downstairs. Upstairs, two further bedrooms (a twin and a single) share a Jack and Jill bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with a dishwasher, separate freezer and utility room housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are included. One dog is welcome; the property is non-smoking.
This works for large family gatherings or multi-generational trips. St Mawes itself is a working fishing village with a harbour, cafés and a castle at the water's edge; the South West Coast Path runs nearby for clifftop walks. A travel cot and highchair are available for younger visitors.
