Upper Cobblestones

St Mawes castle sits a short walk away, and the harbour with its working boats and waterfront restaurants is even closer. Upper Cobblestones occupies the village's western edge, high enough to command views across the water where ferries and yachts move constantly. The house is reversed on its slope: the four bedrooms and main living spaces face south from a full-width balcony on the upper level, while a utility room and fourth bedroom occupy the lower ground floor.

Three of the four bedrooms have kingsize beds; one has four single beds. Three bathrooms serve the property. The kitchen has an electric range, dishwasher and everything needed for self-catering. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are included. A heated swimming pool (open June to August) sits in the garden alongside a terrace and decked seating area. You have parking for five cars and the whole place to yourselves. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The driveway is steep and the garden drops sharply to Lower Castle Road, so this suits mobile families and groups rather than those with mobility concerns.
