An 18th-century Grade II listed building with a thatched roof, The Moorland House sits in countryside near Liskeard with the Market Inn within a mile. The cottage holds four guests across two bedrooms, a bathroom with both bath and shower, a sitting room, dining room and kitchen spread across ground and first floors. One well-behaved pet can come with you.
Downstairs, the sitting room has a television, Blu-ray player, internet radio, books, board games and puzzles. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking – oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and the usual utensils and pans all provided. The dining room looks onto the garden and seats six around a solid oak table. Upstairs, one bedroom has a double bed and window seat with garden views; the other contains a super king bed (convertible to twins) and a travel cot. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included.
The garden is the property's standout feature, positioned to overlook the valley and village beyond, with outdoor seating for dining or simply sitting out. No smoking is permitted inside. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.
