A detached cottage built into its own grounds, Tucstan has the feel of a proper country retreat while staying accessible—everything is on ground floor, with just ten steps to the entrance. Three bedrooms (two doubles and a bunk room) and one bathroom make it suitable for a family or two couples; the living space centres on a sitting room with an open fire, separate dining area, and a kitchen equipped for self-catering. Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and Wi-Fi are all included, and there's private parking for three cars.
The hamlet of Bridge sits within reach of Falmouth, the Lizard Peninsula's coastal walks, and a scattering of attractions—the Eden Project, Gweek's seal sanctuary, Poldark Mines and Flambards among them. A beach lies five miles away; a pub and shops are roughly a mile down the road. The garden comes with furniture, though it contains an unfenced pond and steps without handrails, so worth keeping in mind if you're visiting with young children. No smoking indoors.
