It's amazing how quickly this garden gas recovered from the devastation of the hurricane force winds we had earlier this year . Very impressive. The gardeners here are awsome people who clearly worked there socks off to sort the garden . You woukd hardly know anything had happened at all. I love the new idea of the natural meadows for preserving wildlife and forna. The maze is is great fun for younger legs .be warned it's built on the slope so there are steps .adults and children alike find this great fun . For the plant buffs thus is a not to be missed place with lots of full grown exotic trees and plants you won't find anywhere else in this country. Spring and early summer is a great time to visit the smell of flowers fills the air all around you . Disabled people can make it around but it is hard work for the carer . So get someone strong and fit to take you It's a treat for all the senses including listening to all the birds . There's a great free ap you can download that listens and tells you what birds are around love it . There's plenty to interest the children too . The river estuary is at the bottom of the garden lots of youngsters and adults enjoying the water . Lovely place to visit free for national trust members you'll have a great day.

Beautifully kept gardens. Too many species to count. Very nice beach with icecream , toilets and loads of rock pools as the tode was out. Maze looks easy but its not...we gave up! Large pond with lovely lillies and abundant wildlife. Bumped into a tour guided group that we will join next time as the guide was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. We will return, especially in the autumn.

We had a brilliant time at Glendurgan Gardens! It’s a beautiful walk down to the beach through wonderful huge trees and tropical plants. The maze was fun though not dog friendly so we took it in turns. It’s worth noting both paths aren’t accessible as the path off to the right involves steps.

Beautiful gardens with a good variety of plants and activities for younger visitors ( although as adults we enjoyed the maze too!) A lovely tidal beach on the estuary edge is accessible from the gardens too.
