Wildwood House
Cornwall
Fowey's harbour sits on the south coast with historic streets, waterside pubs and working boats moored below the town. Within walking distance are coastal paths, woodland trails and beaches; the town itself has shops, restaurants and a maritime character that draws sailors and walkers year-round. Wildwood House stands a mile inland, positioned to catch estuary views across the water.
The property spreads across four storeys. Three bedrooms sleep six: two doubles and a third with a bunk bed, suited to families. A modern bathroom serves the bedrooms. The second-floor sitting room faces the estuary, while the kitchen diner downstairs is fully fitted for self-catering. A separate outhouse holds a washing machine. Central heating and electricity are included, as are bed linen and towels. The rear garden—the property's strongest feature—is landscaped and opens to uninterrupted views over the water. A timber summerhouse with heating and Wi-Fi sits at the far end, furnished for sitting out across the seasons.
No smoking is permitted inside. Children are welcome; the bunk-bedded room and summerhouse hideaway suit families well.
