About Parc Pen Y Bryn

Tucked beside Clocaenog Forest with sweeping valley views, Parc Pen Y Bryn is a peaceful, spacious retreat for tourers and motorhomes. The modern, wheelchair-accessible shower block earns consistent praise for its spotless condition, while the small scale (just 11–25 pitches) guarantees plenty of elbow room and a genuinely tranquil atmosphere. Friendly owners are often around to help, and the well-maintained hardstanding and grass pitches—some with electric hook-ups—make settling in straightforward.

Campfires and barbecues are both allowed, adding to the relaxed vibe, and dogs are welcome year-round to explore the surrounding forest trails. The site also generates its own renewable energy and offers motorhome service points. Betws-y-Coed, Llyn Brenig reservoir and Snowdonia National Park lie within easy reach for walkers, cyclists and watersports fans.

Clawddnewydd's community pub (Sunday roasts come highly recommended) is ten minutes away, with Corwen's shops and riverside setting twenty minutes down the road.

Just had a lovely super chilled night's stay at this campsite. The fantastic, far reaching views and the permitted use of firepits was what 1st attracted me to the site. The new showers and toilets are spotless and tastefully done that just add to the overall appeal of the place. ( I'm happy to report the showers are not push button operated). A sign was displayed near the toilet block stating a new cafe is planned on site which will be a great addition. The glamping huts look fantastic, which I may seriously consider in the future to stay in with the family. WiFi connection was superb and fast and worked faultless on my pitch. My only negative point would be that if the site was at full capacity, the 2 unisex individual toilets and 2 showers may struggle to keep up with demand. Overall this is a lovely site, and I will definitely be staying again. Great job guys. Thanks for having me and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Just returned from a long weekend. We stayed in one of the cabins and would highly recommend them to others. They are in a lovely elevated setting overlooking the countryside. They come well equipped with everything needed for a break in the countryside, including good heating and a TV for chillier evenings. The owners Rob and Ffion are very visible onsite, very friendly and helpful. The new toilet and shower block has been completed to a very high standard (love the sheep toilet roll holders!) and they are in the process of building a small cafe which should be nice. We chose the site as had booked at nearby Go Below, also close to great walks and golf courses. The pub at the bottom of the road is also worth popping in to sit by the river for a pint. We would highly recommend this site to friends and family. Thank you Rob and Ffion.

One of the best camp sites i have visited, so quiet and peaceful. Lots of walks around. The facilities were fantastic some of the best I have used at a site. Can't wait to visit again.

It snowed, we were worried about getting to the site. Rob the owner phoned and gave us the information we needed. We were greeted upon arrival on a snow covered site by the lovely friendly owner. Clean and warm facilities. Views to die for. Lovely area. My son and his family joined us for a few hours of snow fun. We watched the owner Rob tow three vans back up to the main road due to snow, nothing was too much trouble. We'll definitely be coming again and my son is checking out the glamping cabins for his family.
