Cuckoos Nest

Cuckoos Nest is fully equipped for eight people across four bedrooms and three bathrooms spread over three floors. The main living space is open-plan with a woodburner, and the kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all the basics for self-catering. Bedrooms include two king-size beds (one ground floor with patio doors to decking, one on the top floor) and two rooms with single beds. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered, as is the initial wood for the woodburner. There's a washer-dryer, and cots, highchairs and a stairgate are available if needed.

The property sits directly on Clearwater Lake within Lower Mill Estate, a 450-acre nature reserve near Somerford Keynes. Your own decked garden has a hot tub for six, and there's a balcony with seating. Beyond the property, residents can access a spa with heated indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, steam room, gym and tennis court, all shared with other guests on the estate. A children's play area and restaurant are also available. One small dog is welcome provided it stays on a lead throughout the reserve. Smoking is not permitted. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
