The Augusta House

The Augusta House opens into a substantial ground-floor living space where large windows frame views across the estate's lakes and grounds. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with an oven, hob, dishwasher and separate laundry facilities. Doors lead from the dining area onto a decked garden with furniture and a barbecue. A woodburner sits in the living room, with logs provided for the season.

Five bedrooms spread across three floors accommodate ten guests. The first floor holds three rooms—two with twin single beds and patio doors to a balcony, one with a double bed and balcony access—plus an ensuite bathroom. A fourth bedroom with bunk beds (children only) is also on this floor. The top floor contains a fifth double bedroom with its own ensuite. A separate shower room serves additional guests. Essentials like bed linen, towels, heating and Wi-Fi are all included.

The whole property is yours alone. One dog stays free. The estate itself offers a 25-metre heated indoor pool, an outdoor heated pool, gym, sauna and steam room (a pass covers ten people), plus tennis courts and fishing on the grounds. The setting suits extended families or groups looking for both privacy and shared facilities; the location near Somerford Keynes gives access to the wider Cotswolds. Parking for one car is allocated; additional spaces are available on-site. No smoking indoors.
