A converted stone cottage in Cotswold countryside, The Apple Loft occupies the first floor of a period building near Mickleton. The whole property is yours alone: one bedroom with a double bed, bathroom with shower, and an open-plan living and dining space that flows into a kitchen fitted with gas hob and electric oven. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi are provided. Parking for one car is on site.
The cottage opens onto a balcony overlooking the surrounding landscape, with an enclosed garden below featuring patio space and borders. Inside, granite worktops and a wood-burning stove add to the finish. Chipping Campden, famous for its high street of local restaurants and inns, lies three miles away; Hidcote Gardens, owned by the National Trust, is two miles distant. Stratford-upon-Avon is eight miles off, offering the Shakespeare theatres and riverside walks. For walkers, the Cotswold Way is accessible, and Broadway with its pubs and restaurants sits six miles away. Mickleton itself, a mile away, is home to local shops and the Pudding Club. No smoking is permitted inside.
