Wonderful first experience of punting in Cambridge! I booked a private tour (family of 4 adults). We had a smooth ride with great conversation and plenty of information about the history of Cambridge university. Gabriel is a lovely, friendly gentleman and it was our pleasure to have him as our guide. This was completely worth the price for a private tour. We were lucky with the weather too…one of my favourite family days out in the UK ever.

A serendipitous experience! Punting was originally a maybe on our Cambridge to-do list, and, rain was in the forecast, but we decided to give it a go, and we were beyond delighted! Our guide was originally introduced to us as 'the pirate', and we came to understand he was not only spunky but incredibly knowledgeable and witty. If I could go back, I'd ask if he (our punter) was a professor that just does punting for fun or something because he was absolutely brilliant. Thank you for a lovely experience!

We had a great and enjoyable punting experience this evening. The punt glided gently across the River Cam, we were surrounded by breathtaking views of the colleges and lovely bridges. Our guide Tom shared fascinating stories of the history, architecture and celebrities alumni of various colleges and their contributions to the university. Tom's engaging commentary made the whole experience entertaining and enjoyable! I would highly recommend Scholar Punting to anyone visiting Cambridge🥰！

A brilliant, scenic, highly educational late evening trip in a company of friendly "pirate" Nick! I would highly recommend this company located a bit further away from the Bridge st. Price is more modest than their rivals closer. Nick was such a fascinating and full of character chauffeur that I could read some light envy in the eyes of tourists in other punts! We've heard a lot of stories and they were not simply delivered like dry facts but presented as whole tales of the past. Thank you, Nick! We will try come back in autumn!
