We had a wonderful stay at Premier Inn Coventry and would highly recommend it. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. We chose the continental breakfast, and it exceeded all expectations. Everything was prepared with exceptional care and attention to detail. The ladies working in the breakfast area were among the kindest, most patient, and genuinely welcoming hotel staff I have ever encountered. Having worked in several hotels myself, including for Hilton in Germany, I can honestly say their level of service was outstanding. What impressed us most was the motherly care with which breakfast was served. We were gently asked how we would like our breakfast prepared, and every effort was made to ensure it was exactly to our taste. It felt personal, warm, and truly hospitable. The hotel's location is another major advantage. It is conveniently situated close to Coventry city centre, the main bus station, shopping streets, restaurants, and other amenities. The beautiful Coventry Cathedral is only a few minutes' walk away, and there are also some lovely parks nearby for a relaxing stroll. Overall, a fantastic stay with exceptional hospitality, excellent breakfast service, and a great central location. We would happily stay here again.

3/5 would probably recommend somewhere else but this place does the job Stayed here overnight for work during the June 2026 heatwave, it was an alright place to stay that does the job but if you’re looking for somewhere that goes above and beyond (ie not for work) I’d look elsewhere. The room was cool enough to sleep through the night, though the room temp doesn’t go below 19oC. The bed was comfy which is the main thing so had a pretty good night sleep. The bathroom is alright, the shower pressure wasn’t anything spectacular but it didn’t disappoint. The toiletries could’ve done with topping up. The free WiFi was absolutely shocking and a waste of time, it was better using my mobile data. The TV also struggled though this could’ve been cause of the heat. The location is very good, local and accessible. And the actual cleanliness of the room wasn’t disappointing. The breakfast was good, good selection of hot and cold food and drinks.

Jack was a great help for us even when we weren't in the Hotel. He was a very friendly guy and showed us to places in Coventry to eat etc because we were new to the city. Overall the staff was very friendly and the rooms were top quality.

I went for breakfast on the first day of service at Premier Inn and unfortunately the experience was not good. When I arrived at the dining area, there was no one present to greet or guide guests, and I was left waiting for a while, then staff walked past without acknowledging me. As it was my first time, it wasn’t clear where I should wait or how the process worked. A staff member named Norma then came over and quite abruptly directed me to wait in a different area before entering the dining space. The tone and manner of communication felt rude and unwelcoming, which made the experience uncomfortable. As it was the first day of service, some disorganisation may be understandable, but clearer instructions and a more polite, welcoming approach would have improved the experience.
