Convenient. Very well located. £5 a day multi story car park nearby. Historic building with grand facade. Spacious rooms. Good showers and air conditioning works in most rooms. The helpful, considerate, thoughtful, kind and friendly service offered by Tom was very much appreciated. Others who were kind or friendly or helpful were Connor, Zac, Sandra, Taya, Dylan, Ollie, Estelle and Karlie, hoping they are recognised & rewarded for their efforts. Have had multiple stays here & recommend this hotel.

Rooms was good size, clean and decent water pressure. Service was good, staff are friendly and a laugh. Breakfast is ordered and made fresh instead of buffet style which is good, had 3 meals at night and they've all been decent. Could do with Guinness on draft instead of cans but yeah, overall good stay 👌

Paid extra for plus room. Well worth it. The room was spacious comfortable and well designed wetroom. The only thing letting it down is the amount of pull doors between entrance and room. Being a wheelchair user and it being an adapted room is expect doors to be better. Staff were lovely though. Parking is a multi storey nextdoor at £5 a day paid before we realised there are some disabled parking spaces outside the entrance, it didn't say this on the site.

Have stayed here for Poker in July/August for last 7 years. Staff are always helpful. Shout of Lisa, Nathan and Sandra who were exemplary and a credit to the hotel. see you next year!
