About The Crossway Hotel Part of AG Collection

Wigston Road sits on the edge of Coventry, a straightforward setting that suits The Crossway Hotel Part of AG Collection well - it's a no-fuss base rather than a destination in itself, with free on-site parking making it easy for anyone arriving by car. The garden and outdoor seating area give the place a bit of breathing space away from the road, with a picnic area for those who want to sit outside.

The 47 rooms are compact and functional, each with its own en-suite bathroom, and family and accessible rooms are available for those who need them. Breakfast is served on site, and there's a bar for an evening drink, along with meeting rooms for anyone travelling on business. Laundry service and luggage storage are also on hand, and pets are welcome.

Coventry itself is close by for restaurants, pubs and entertainment, while golf and fishing can be found in the surrounding area for those wanting to get outdoors. It's a plain, practical stopover rather than a polished one, best suited to guests who want somewhere simple to park up and sleep.

I stayed here for two weeks while working nearby. The location is really convenient, and the hotel itself is very quiet, so I was able to get a good night’s sleep. The room I stayed in during my second week had clearly been refurbished. It was clean, modern and much more comfortable, and everything was easy to use. Compared with the older room I had during the first week, the refurbished room was a big improvement and made the hotel feel much more up to date. Mr. Monty, the manager, was also very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. He helped me with a few things and made the whole experience much easier. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay.

Matt nice

Monty (manager) Jamie (team) Laura (team) where all fantastic, we have had a great time for quick pit stop. The rooms are a little dated non the less (thoroughly clean and spotless, may I add again Ty Laura). The team made up for this. 100% recommend for cheap enjoyable stay with good people

On arrival for 3pm checkin there was a queue of about 12 people. The man on reception did not seem to know what he was doing. Eventually after 40 mins a lady came and took over which went a bit quicker. Got booked in however the key did not work to our room . So one of us went back to reception where another complaint was taking place. I stood in the rain with the bags . Once in the room it was disgusting. It hadn't been cleaned properly. The sink was cracked and broken and there was remains of diarrhoea splashed up the wall by the toilet. No toilet paper. The bed had bedbugs so we ended up sleeping ( 2 hours max ) with our clothes on and coats over to keep us warm. Never again .

I stayed at this hotel 2-3 weeks ago for work purposes, it was a very good stay the service was exceptional, I came back and they gave me a dirty room, which resulted in BED BUGS biting both my feet and legs I have so many bites now, I asked for a room swap they denied it because they had nothing available and offered a J20 instead. I had to leave my stay a night early and the issue started on the first day of 4, and I had to find accomodation elsewhere I was staying in room 33 so stay clear of that room Also I’m not posting my feet but if you want them for proof lemme know
