What visitors say
Myself and my daughter had a super stay, camping and loved the site. The view of the mountains in front and behind the tent was beautiful and a pleasure to wake up to each morning. It is situated perfectly for easy access to the mountains, Brecon and local walks within easy reach. The pitch was huge and spacious, it was very clean and everyone was super friendly and helpful. The little shop is one of the best stocked shops I’ve been in with plenty of local goods. Although we didn’t use the pop up breakfast van for food it was a lovely option to have fresh coffee In The mornings. A very pleasant site, quiet after ten pm and one we will definitely return to in the future.

We had our first glamping experience in a Shepherd's Hut at Cwmdu Campsite. We booked after the Campsite was highly recommended to us by friends and it did not disappoint. A beautiful, peaceful location and a lovely, friendly team led by Sarah and Calvin. It is clearly a much loved family business that balances simplicity and excellence. That comes through in everything they do and we felt very much at home there. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Really nice small campsite, elevated by wonderful staff and a great onsite shop, better than most supermarkets! Nice and quiet, and a great location for the Beacons. Really generous pitches and all the facilities are fresh, clean and well kept. The coffee/beer hut is a great thing - and the campsite’s own lager is genuinely excellent! If I had to find anything negative, it’s that some of the pitches have a bit of a slope - but this is Wales, so it’s not unexpected. I have the feeling that if we had an issue with this the lovely staff would have looked after us. Also, the air conditioning in the shop is a godsend in this heatwave we’ve been having! Can absolutely recommend.

We used the campsite for 1 night for our Gold DofE students. Sarah & Calvin welcomed us with open arms & a warm smile, which the students were glad of after a long trek. The site was extremely well kept & had separate toilets, showers, washing up facilities & camping areas for DofE students. Many thanks for your kind hospitality.
