Apple Tree Cottage

Apple Tree Cottage comes ready for a proper stay. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all sorted. The kitchen has everything needed to cook properly—electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washer-dryer—while the living room offers a 32-inch TV and DVD player for downtime. Upstairs are two double bedrooms; downstairs is a bathroom with bath, shower and heated towel rail.

The cottage sleeps four and is yours alone for the duration. The enclosed garden has a patio, furniture and enough space to sit outside; there's also a mature apple tree in season. Bassenthwaite is a quiet village setting, though the Sun Inn stands less than a minute's walk away if you'd rather not cook one evening. Free parking is available in the public car park nearby. Non-smokers only. A travel cot and highchair can be provided on request.
