Brandelhow is a dormer bungalow on the outskirts of Keswick, positioned high enough to catch views across the fells and towards Derwentwater. The ground floor holds a living and dining space with Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen (electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher), and two bedrooms with kingsize beds and a family bathroom. Upstairs, a third bedroom with two single beds has its own ensuite. The property sleeps six and comes with linen, towels, wi-fi and heating included.

Front and rear gardens provide multiple seating areas, and there is parking for two cars on the driveway. A private lane leads to the property, keeping it set back from the busier parts of town. Walla Crag, one of the area's most walked fells, starts at the end of the road. Keswick town centre—with its shops, pubs, restaurants and Theatre by the Lake—is within a ten-minute walk. One dog is welcome. The property is non-smoking.

Lakeside park with stunning views across Derwent Water to the mountains beyond, and easy, accessible paths through woodland and alongside stony beaches. There's roadside parking near the start of the trail to Cat Bells, within 10 minutes walk of Brandlehow Park, or you can walk from Keswick if you're up for a long hike. The scenery here is superb, and if you don't mind a moderately challenging ascent, it's well worth hiking up Cat Bells for the superb views in all directions from the summit. If you'd rather relax, the beaches are a wonderful place to sit and watch the boats and waterbirds on the lake.
