Garth House - Garth Cottage

Brampton is a working market town in the Eden Valley, surrounded by the landscapes that make Cumberland distinctive. Garth Cottage sits within the grounds of a Grade II listed house from the 1830s, giving you a rural feel while staying close to the town's shops and pubs. The cottage itself is a contemporary conversion—three bedrooms, each with an ensuite, sleeping six comfortably across the whole property to yourselves.

Ground floor has the living spaces: a sitting room with a woodburner and large television, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, all the basics. There's also a conservatory. Upstairs, three bedrooms: two with super kingsize beds (each can be split into singles on request) and one with a zip-and-link arrangement. All three have their own bathrooms with bath and shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; logs for the woodburner are provided too.

Outside, you have a private courtyard with a hot tub for four and garden furniture, plus charcoal barbecue. The property also offers access to a heated indoor swimming pool on the grounds—one hour per day free of use, to be booked in advance. No smoking inside. Parking for four cars on site.
