Cleugh Foot

Cleugh Foot is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage sleeping six on the Netherby Estate in Cumberland. The ground floor contains a living room with woodburner and French doors to the garden, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for cooking from scratch. A utility room with washing machine and a shower room complete the layout. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a king bed and ensuite; two further bedrooms offer a double and two singles respectively. One dog is welcome to stay.

The grounds matter here—there's a private hot tub for six, a firepit with seating and garden furniture, and woodland to explore on the estate. You have parking for multiple cars on site. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; the woodburner comes with initial fuel. Checkout is before 10:00, arrival after 15:00. No smoking in the property itself.

This is a working farm setting, so the landscape is rural rather than remote. The River Esk runs through the estate, and the grounds offer genuine space for families wanting to move around outdoors while still being a contained, private base.
