Top Lodge

This former gatehouse to Netherby Hall sits in rural Cumbrian countryside between Carlisle and the border. One bedroom upstairs holds a kingsize bed and a roll-top bath; downstairs are a living room with woodburner, dining room and kitchen, plus a shower room. Electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard, along with initial fuel for the stove. Two cars can park on site.

The kitchen is fully fitted for self-catering. A back garden includes seating, a barbecue and an outdoor bath. The whole place is yours alone—there are no other guests. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking indoors. Arrival is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
