It's set in rural Cumberland, positioned to watch steam trains pass on the Settle to Carlisle railway at the bottom of the field. Carlisle itself is within reach for its castle, museums and city centre, while Brampton and the North Pennines lie nearby. Hadrian's Wall and the Lake District are accessible for day trips. No smoking indoors.
