Hadrian's Wall, the Lake District and the North Pennines are all within reach of Old Reading Room, a two-bedroom cottage in Cotehill in the Eden Valley. The village sits between the high fells and the lower moorland, making it a natural base for exploring the region's landscape. A pub and restaurant are a hundred yards away, and there is parking for one car on site.
The cottage has an open-plan ground floor with a woodburner and kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals. Two bedrooms upstairs—one kingsize, one with twins—and a bathroom with both bath and shower. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with wifi and heating. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The property is entirely yours for the duration of your stay, and smoking is not permitted inside.
