Eden Cottage

Eden Cottage is a stone cottage that sits on a corner plot in Little Corby, a village between Carlisle and the Eden Valley. It was comprehensively refurbished in 2018, with a new shaker-style kitchen fitted throughout. The building is a short walk from the River Eden, which runs 55 yards away across open ground.

Inside, there are two bedrooms—one with a double bed and one with a three-quarter double—sharing a single bathroom with a shower over the bath. The ground floor holds a living and dining room with a wood-burning stove and a 35-inch smart television, plus a kitchen equipped for everyday cooking, with a dishwasher and washer-dryer built in. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels come as standard. There is on-road parking and an enclosed garden or patio outside.

The location puts you within walking distance of country pubs, including one practically across the road, and near enough to the river for fishing. Hadrian's Wall lies a mile away, the Lake District National Park is accessible, and a butchers is 220 yards from the door. The cottage takes one pet and is non-smoking throughout.
