Wetheral village sits beside the River Eden in rural Cumberland, with open countryside rolling away towards water meadows where deer graze. The village centre is walkable for shops and pubs, and the local rail line connects to nearby cities for day trips without driving. East Wing occupies the first and second floors of a former Edwardian house, a self-contained apartment that sleeps six across three bedrooms, each with its own en-suite.
The layout centres on a well-equipped kitchen–dining room where the practical side of self-catering happens easily, with a separate lounge that opens onto countryside views. Central heating and an electric fire keep things warm. Upstairs, the master double and one further double bedroom offer en-suite bathrooms, while a twin bedroom comes with an en-suite shower room—useful if guests value separate spaces. A utility room handles laundry and storage. Outside, a patio with garden furniture looks over the fields towards the river.
Parking for two cars comes as standard, with an EV charger available. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The village has a pub within a mile. Smoking is not permitted inside.
